Meet Marcus Fakler, a Cleveland-based musician who spent seven years writing and performing in the mid to late 2010s. His musical evolution culminated in the release of his self-produced album Who Knows, a genre-bending masterpiece that explores complex themes such as life's meaning, religion, mortality, and starting anew.

After completing the album, Marcus embarked on a new adventure through the Peace Corps in Senegal, where he pursued a different tone of life away from the chaos of self-definition.

Upon his return to the United States, Marcus continued to explore and create music with sound engineer and producer Nick Bullock, resulting in the album A Slight and Subtle Bending. This collection features original songs and covers from indie rock greats, reflecting Marcus's newfound maturity and direction.

Despite his focus on music, Marcus also found fulfillment in a variety of other pursuits, such as WWOOFing, construction work, and gardening. These experiences sparked questions about creativity and creation, leading him to draw inspiration for his new album, A Feeling of Once in a Lifetime.

Set to release in summer 2023, A Feeling of Once in a Lifetime is a meditation on inspiration, exploring its ebbs and flows and the ways in which it can be found in a society filled with both positives and negatives. Through this work, Marcus hopes to connect with listeners and offer a message of hope and love.
